I have found that meeting with the brothers and sisters in the local church is truly the greatest joy on earth. Before discovering the local church and entering into the “church life,” I did have Christ. However, the Christ I had was still so little. But in discovering the local church, I began to realize that God wants more than just giving Christ to us for our regeneration. God does not want just individual believers pursuing Him. He wants the church. He wants the church life.
The local church has been a great help to my spiritual growth. I am so limited as an individual. I can testify that my vision and experience has been so uplifted by the local church. I am not just regenerated, I am growing through mutual fellowship, home gatherings, and even practical service together. I have been shepherded by the Lord through many brothers and sisters here. Their prayers, their absoluteness, and their spirit of love have carried me through. I have experienced many spiritual blessing here. In the church, with the brothers and sisters, there is a practical means to pursue Christ and be built into God's house as a mature member in the Lord. I know that I have found my home here where both God and I are at rest.
